Story
One of the joys of traveling is discovering experiences you never planned for.
While spending time in Eloy, Arizona, we learned that military teams from around the world come there to train for skydiving. We found ourselves watching as one plane after another climbed into the brilliant desert sky before releasing dozens of jumpers high above us.
For a few quiet moments, the blue sky exploded with color. Red, yellow, blue, orange, and white parachutes drifted gracefully toward the earth, transforming an ordinary afternoon into something unforgettable.
I painted this piece to capture that feeling-the surprise, the movement, and the joy of witnessing something completely unexpected.
Reflection
Some of life's best memories aren't found on an itinerary.
They're the unexpected moments that catch us by surprise and remind us to look up.
God has a beautiful way of placing extraordinary moments in the middle of ordinary days. We simply have to be present enough to notice them.
Sometimes the greatest adventures aren't the ones we planned-they're the ones we never saw coming.
Scripture
"Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us."
-Ephesians 3:20
